I'm settling my mom's estate, and had some jewelry I wanted to sell and/or have appraised. SWJ came up as the number one pick here on Yelp, and I'm so glad to have checked here first! Eric was great to work with, as so many of the reviews state, and Kim was very helpful on the phone. Eric was very professional and easy to do business with. The office is in a nice part of town and doesn't have the pawn-shop feel at all. Was given a fair price for my scrap gold. Even referred me to a coin shop to see if I could get a better price on some common date morgans. Will be back again.

I'm a college student struggling to pay on my own. Had jewelry I hadn't worn in years, so collected all what I thought was worthy, only one ring (silver) was not. Eric [the owner] was to the point and did everything right in front of us, weighing it,net worth  on computer screen, analyzing the jewelry. Not only was there extreme confidence but he was strictly professional. May just go back for more college funds. Highly recommend, and for the location he was NOT snobby at all.

I was expecting a jewelry shop type of business but this is a very legit personal type jeweler. Brought in my old treasure jewelry chest, feeling kinda odd thinking maybe this wasn't the place I should be. I was escorted into the gentlemen's office and he was so kind and right to business. I showed him what I got, he weighed the gold, tested and viewed the gram and offered me an incredible price per gram. I walked out of there RICH not knowing I possessed so much money in my old treasure chest with a check on hand! Very legit and cool business to bring your old jewelry for top cash.

I went to SW Jewelry Buyers for a "second opinion" because of the great reviews that I read here. In spite of charging the same percentage of spot, Eric ended up beating the price of my jeweler considerably, since the jeweler was not very skilled at evaluating the amount of gold in each piece. Normally, I would consider Eric's comment, "I beat everybody in price" to be cocky and a bit egotistical, but I can't in this case because he's simply stating the truth.If you want a fair deal on selling your gold, and the expertise to price it appropriately, this is the place you should go to. I strongly recommend Eric and SW Jewelry Buyers. Integrity is something that's hard to find these days in a business, but you'll find it at this establishment.

I read the other Yelp reviews and I must concur. This experience was awesome. I've not sold jewelry before so I can't compare this to other places. I had an appt in the area so thought I would just pop in. The door was locked, noon on a Tuesday. Within 60 seconds, as I re-read "By appt only" on their yelp face page, two people walked up, one of whom was Eric. He invited me right in. He gave me polite yet forthcoming and honest feedback on a ring I showed him. We did make a transactions that was easy and I felt good about. There was no pressure. He didn't give me any reason to think I would have wasted his time if I didn't sell what I brought. Additionally, he is professional as well as personable. He seems like the kind of person who is always kind to the barista or server. He made me feel welcome to bring in some other jewelry just for his opinion.

My wife and I had a few pieces of jewelry we wanted to sell, but were not sure of their value. I messaged Eric to inquire if he would be interested in purchasing. It was very easy to set up an appointment for the appraisal. Though it was a little bit of a drive, the overall ease of the transaction made up for it. I love patronizing friends of friends & Eric was referred by a great friend/colleague so I knew he'd be excellent. 2019 is the year I really want to do, rather than have. I realized I have jewelry I haven't worn in years, just taking up space. Some pieces I sold were gorgeous 18k gold from a former boyfriend. He is no longer with us but I know I got his blessing to let go of them because he was a big adventurer and that's how I'll be spending this money. Every time I took my jewelry out of these little pouches, inside my "special bag," I got to look at these pieces again and it only furthered my recognition that I was ready to have them out of my life. When you're selling things with sentimental value, the very first thing you want to do is make sure that you're absolutely ready to part with them. So the "pawn shop tour" was actually a good exercise. Then second, if you ARE going to part with them, get the highest dollar value for them. Honestly, I never knew where to sell an old diamond i didn't need anymore.  Brought it by a pawn shop, and a couple local jewellers that deal in second hand items, and neither could even come close to the price Eric was willing to give here.  It was a little tough to find as its in the middle of an office complex, but this shop was a good find.  I did not have the original diamond cert but Eric said he could get a new one issued.  He was also able to confirm the grade, xolor, and cut just by inspecting it for a few minutes.  I was sure impressed.  Eric will give you a no bs, no strings attached offer for your jewelry.
